Parents and guardians are invited to a free presentation at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, in the Geneva High School auditorium titled "Challenge Accepted: Building Student Resiliency." The featured speaker is Adam Russo, LCSW, the Chairman & CEO of Edgewood Clinical Services.
Russo will be speaking about the stigma surrounding anxiety and stress and how resiliency is possible in an ever-changing culture of instant gratification.
His keynote TEDx speech, “The Importance of Failure” focuses on resiliency as the key to long-term happiness. He is also the author of "Unwritten Rules: Real Strategies to Parent Your Child into a Successful Adult."
