Williamsburg Elementary School! All grandparents and/or special seniors in your child’s life are invited to share in this joyous morning celebration.
Here is what you can expect during this event:
8:30am Coffee and refreshments in the cafeteria
8:45am Welcome by Dr. Dye, Principal, in the gymnasium
9:00am 4th grade music presentation in the gymnasium
9:25—9:55am Session I: Grandparents/Special Seniors first classroom visit
9:55—10:05am Grandparents/Special Seniors transition to the next classroom
10:05—10:35am Session II: Grandparents/Special Seniors second classroom visit
10:35a.m. End of morning
(This event must conclude by 10:35 to clear traffic/parking & prepare for students to have lunch.)
PLEASE! - PLEASE! - PLEASE!
We ask that all students keep to their regular dismissal/transportation plan on this day rather than making arrangements to go home with grandparents/special seniors. In addition to students needing to remain in class it is extremely difficult for the office to track such a large number of alternate transportation arrangements at the last minute. If you would like to make special plans for your child to spend time with grandparents after school, we ask that they please pick your child up from home or from their daycare provider.
Handicap parking is limited.
Please consider arriving early or dropping off & picking up your grandparent/special senior.
