Our Programs

School Hours

All students attend 5 days/week, Monday-Friday.
  • Three-Year-Olds:  9:00-11:30 a.m.
  • Four-Year-Olds:  12:30-3:00 p.m.

Blended Classrooms

The blended program is a combination of typically developing and special education students. Each class has approximately 10 typically developing students and 3-5 students with special education services in the classroom. This is an inclusive preschool program staffed by a dually certified early childhood/special education teacher and two instructional assistants. A response to intervention model will be used to help struggling students who do not have an individualized education plan.

Related services, such as speech/language, OT/PT, and itinerant services, will be provided during this classroom time for eligible special education students.

The 3-year-old blended preschool program meets five days a week in the mornings (9:00-11:30). The 4-year-old blended preschool program meets five days a week in the afternoons (12:30-3:00).

Instructional Classrooms

The instructional preschool classrooms are self-contained special education classes that offer a more intensive skill-building environment. The classes are smaller and designed for special education students who may require more support. Each classroom offers a structured environment and staffs a certified special education teacher and two special education assistants. Students may be included in the blended program for a portion of the day depending on their individual needs. At times, some students will make a full transition from the instructional classroom to the blended classroom. Related services, such as speech/language, OT/PT, and itinerant services, will be provided during this classroom time for eligible students.

The instructional program meets five days a week. Three-years-olds meet in the morning (9:00-11:30) and 4-year-olds meet in the afternoon (12:30-3:00).

Walk-in Speech

Students who qualify for speech only services have typically developing skills in areas such as social/emotional, motor, and cognition, but have a delay in speech and/or language. Speech-only services are provided by a speech/language pathologist on a weekly basis to work on identified skill areas. Students are typically seen in a small group, depending on need.
