On a sunny and brisk Thursday afternoon, third-, fourth-, and fifth-graders laced up their running shoes and piled excitedly behind the Start line to participate in the school's first Hot Chocolate Run. Organized by PE Teacher Mr. Serluco, the event encourages healthy, active lifestyles in youth and promotes running in an exciting way. According to Principal Mrs. Lauri Haugen, 53% of the school's third- through fifth-graders signed up for the event. Keep on running, kiddos!
