2016 GHS Summer School Course Offerings
Information regarding GHS Summer School 2016  is now posted on the GHS website:   http://www.geneva304.org/SummerSchool.aspx.  As in past years, GHS will be offering a variety of credit and non-credit opportunities for students.  Changes for Summer 2016 include U.S. Government and Consumer Economics (Personal Finance) courses being offered online instead of on campus.  Based on positive student feedback from a trial program last summer, this shift will enable students choosing to take these courses much more flexibility in balancing completion of these courses with other summer commitments.  Additional information and registration procedures are contained in the full information packet.  Please note that summer school registration forms will be available beginning April 4, 2016.
April 15 and April 19, 2016 GHS Adjusted Attendance Schedules for Standardized Assessments
Geneva High School will administer the ACT and PARCC exams in April. The nature of these exams necessitates operating an altered schedule at the high school so that we can meet the requirements of a standardized testing environment in a way that maximizes student success.
GHS Welcomes Author Amy Logan
GHS's Child Development class recently welcomed children's book author Amy Logan! Amy is the author of the "A Girl With a Cape" series. She did a book reading and shared her story with the class. Her books are all about empowering young people to believe in the power they have to do good not only for others, but also for themselves. It is an excellent message for all ages.
