    Post Prom 2016

ATTENTION ALL GHS Juniors & Seniors!

    Peace Out!  Post Prom 2016

All GHS Junior and Senior students are encouraged a join us on Saturday, May 14th from10:45pm to 3:00am for a fun-filled evening at Post Prom!  Even if you decide to skip Prom itself, you can still join in the fun at Post Prom “Peace Out!”  Doors open at 10:45pm for a fun filled night.  During the evening you will have many choices to keep yourself entertained. You can burn off some energy in the gym on the inflatables, jump onto the Velcro wall or take a ride on a mechanical bull. Or spend the evening in the “casino” playing blackjack, poker or bingo or stop by to have your caricature drawn by our very Mr. Ochsner, art instructor at GHS.

Of course there is plenty of food!  From pizza to subs to iced coffee to dessert, the Post Prom food court is open all evening! The main event of the evening though is the raffle drawings.  In previous years, through the generous donations of GHS families and the community, Post Prom has been able to offer great prizes such as iPads, laptops, Xbox, mini refrigerators, TVs, many local restaurant gift cards, Cougar tickets, manicures, jewelry, Lollapalooza and Country Mega tickets, golf passes and so much more!

So be sure to purchase your ticket!  If you plan to attend Prom, Post Prom ticket fee is included in your Prom ticket price.  If you plan to join us at Post Prom only, the cost is just $10! Tickets for Post Prom only will be on sale during the lunch periods on May 6 and 9.

2016 GHS Summer School Course Offerings

Information regarding GHS Summer School 2016  is now posted on the GHS website.  Click here for more information: Summer School 2016As in past years, GHS will be offering a variety of credit and non-credit opportunities for students.  Changes for Summer 2016 include U.S. Government and Consumer Economics (Personal Finance) courses being offered online instead of on campus.  Based on positive student feedback from a trial program last summer, this shift will enable students choosing to take these courses much more flexibility in balancing completion of these courses with other summer commitments.  Additional information and registration procedures are contained in the full information packet.  Please note that summer school registration forms will be available beginning April 4, 2016.
