Geneva Staff, Students and Parents:

Illinois law (Pesticide Products Application and Notification Act) requires all school districts and day care centers to notify students and staff when pesticide chemicals are being used in or around the school facilities. Please be aware that fertilizer and weed control of the lawns will take place at the following Geneva locations:

Friday, August 2^nd, at Geneva Middle School North, Fabyan Elementary School, and Mill Creek Elementary School

Tuesday, August 6^th, at Western Avenue Elementary School, Harrison Street Elementary School, and Keslinger Bus Garage

Wednesday, August 7^th, at Heartland Elementary School, Williamsburg Elementary School, and Coultrap Educational Services Center

Thursday, August 8^th, at Geneva High School and Athletic Fields

Saturday, August 10^th, at Geneva Middle School South

Saturday, August 3^rd and 10^th, will be back up rain dates for all locations.

Geneva is committed to minimizing the use of chemicals for weed control, lawn care & pesticide applications, but at times it is necessary for the proper maintenance of the facility. If you have any questions about the application of the pesticide, please contact the 1^st Shift Building Services Coordinator at 630-463-3020.
