Student Council’s last meeting of the year will be Thursday, May 5th, at 7:50. Meet in Ms. Mack’s sewing room!

 

The 6th Grade Viking Gamer Super Smash Bros. Tournament will take place this Friday from 3:30 to 5:20 so come prepared for some tough opponents!

 

It’s time to gear up for summer.  Join us for our YA book club Summer Reading Kickoff at the Geneva Public Library on Tuesday, May10th. Snacks, a scavenger hunt, and more!  See Mrs. Fedor or Mrs. Hollis for more details.  RSVP by 5/6.

 

Help Student Council and Leo’s Club celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month with spirit week next week! Monday is “move it forward Monday”, wear your college, military, or vocational wear! Stay tuned for the rest of the week’s gear!

Last night, the Geneva South track team played host to Sycamore Middle School and arch rival, Geneva North. The wind was cold, but your Vikings were hot, taking an early points lead. 

For 7th grade girls, Olivia Pohlman turned in a personal best to win the triple jump, Mira Meyers dominated the 800 meters and Corlett Klein set personal records in all her events.

For 8th grade girls, Kaitlin Wall led the charge with an amazing 200 meter effort and the 4x100 team of Anna Lutzow, Ava Mehren, Addison Skinner and Lexi Weber ran away from the pack.

For 8th grade boys, Harrison Tincher dominated the 100 meter dash, and the 4x400 team of Chris Davis, Lukas Costello, Gaspar Estrada-Brava and Jackson Fuhrman closed the meet with a solid victory.
