Do you have solar eclipse glasses that you aren't quite sure what to do with?  American Science and Surplus in Geneva is collecting used glasses to send to children in Latin America to enjoy their August 2024 solar eclipse.  Glasses can be dropped off at the store or you can bring them to the office and Mrs. Brady will take them to the store.  All donated glasses need to be in by April 26th.  
 
The Super Smash Tournament for Gaming Club had its epic showdown last night.  In a shakeup, the final four played a match of all 'Random' characters.  Daniel Godfrey earned 4th place, with Henry Totman taking 3rd.  Matthew Haughan made a comeback and took 2nd place.  Finally, the new champion, Alex Hosman, took first place.  Congratulations to all the contestants!
 
Leo’s Club’s next meeting is on Monday, April 15. We will be doing the eyeglass sorting event with The Geneva Lion's Club and North Leo's. Pizza will be provided by the Lion's Club. Meet in the library at 3:25.
 
Social Studies Club will be holding the last meeting of the year on Monday in Mr. Fader's room until 4:20pm. 
 
Get your engines running for the next Science Club meeting on Tuesday April 16th!  We will meet after school at South in room 174 until 4:20. See you there!

Tuesday night, the Geneva South track team kicked off its 2024 season with a decisive victory over cross-campus rival Geneva North. Outstanding performances were turned in by Evie Oliva who dominated both the hurdles and triple jump, Riley Dunnett who ran away from the pack in the mile, and Tegan Lee who outjumped all competitors in the long-jump. On the boys' side, Noah Rosser took first in the mile, Brady Kling controlled the 800 meters and Cameron Schmidt soared to first place in the triple jump.
