7th grade girls’ volleyball took on the Rotolo Bulldogs last night and even though Letti Klein had a 7-point serving streak, the Vikings couldn’t pull out a win. Lauren Stachowicz dominated in the back row while Kate Hupke showed her versatility by playing in the front and back. It was the Phoebe Law and Myla Giang(Yang) show last night for the B team. Both players hit all their serves and covered the court with their fancy footwork taking the Bulldogs to three games! Though it was a hard loss, everyone should be proud of how they played! Come cheer them on this Thursday in the contest gym after school!

8th grade girls volleyball played a tough match against Batavia last night. After a devastating loss of 25-4 in the first game, the "A" team had their best comeback of the season. Strong net play from Mia Valenti, serves from Alexa Cosky, and passes from Anna Lutzow and Ella Wilkison helped secure the hard-fought victory for the team. The "B" team played hard but fell just short of victory. Millie Spindle and Yaslin Lopez both had their best games of the season, and Fynnley Huffman made some perfect passes. Great game, girls! Don't forget we have practice tonight!

The boys’ cross-country team bulldozed past the bulldogs last night for a dominating victory.  Ben Barton had the eye of the tiger and led the Vikings finishing second place overall.  Nick Easter ran his best race of the year while Jake Stanuch and Will Lange both set monster personal bests. The girls ran a great race of their own, too as they really packed it together.  Alexis Guess posted another stellar race while Natalija Gaikis and Emelia Bellino ran gutsy races, and Abby Frazier cruised past the competition for her final 100-meter kick. Time to ice the knees and watch Air Jordan highlight tapes to get fired up for the conference championships on Saturday.  Go South!
