Art Club remember the Art Show is taking place tonight at Geneva High School from 5 – 6:30 with awards at 6:00.
 

The Leo’s Club is sponsoring it’s very first Cookie Exchange Party next Tuesday, December 17th after school in Mrs. Beyer’s room 223.  Look for the flyers around school or see Ms. Beyer or Miss Swiderski for more details. 

 

The GMSS Book Fair at Barnes and Noble is tomorrow at the Commons! Support our school by coming out to the book fair to get a Viking brownie or hot chocolate, do some holiday shopping, see Viking Voices and Fiddlers on Fire perform, check out our art show, and participate in some challenges for a chance to win some prizes! 

 

The Variety Show takes place this Friday and Saturday night at 7pm in the cafeteria.  Come see this year's very entertaining show starring our very talented South students.  Entertainment Weekly calls it "one of the best shows they have seen in a long time" while Dean Richards gives it "4 stars"!  Hope to see you there!  

 

The next Green Team meeting is going to be tomorrow in Mrs. Brady’s room 261 until 4:30.

 

Chess Club, your next meeting this this Thursday after school right here at South until 4:30.

 

Remember, Writer’s Club is not meeting this week.  The next meeting will be on Tuesday December 17th in rm 265 right here at South.

 

The next time you go shopping, be sure to pick up a toy for Student Council’s Holiday Toy Drive to help the children at Lutheran General Hospital. For every toy donated you will get a raffle ticket to win one of three $10 gift cards.

 

Clear your calendar for after school on December 19th and make plans with your friends to come to the Student Council holiday movie night!  You can bring some money to buy snacks while you watch the Jim Carrey version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
