We decided to ring in 2020 with some music composed by James Johnson, an American pianist and composer who lived from 1894-1955.  Johnson was one of the most important pianists who bridged the ragtime and jazz eras.  This morning's piece was The Charleston, one of the most popular hits of the 1920s.

Thank you to everyone who auditioned for the musical Aladdin. We had a tremendous amount of talent this year. The cast list will be posted after school across from the main office. The first practice will be Monday from 3:30-5:15. Everyone is expected to attend! If you have any questions, please see Ms. Krahulec in 7 Blue.

 

Social Studies Club will meet this coming Monday for our third annual trivia competition.

7th and 8th grade girls’ basketball tryouts start on Monday. If you are interested in trying out, you need a current physical on file in the main office and your parent needs to register you online on the 8to18 athletic website. These two requirements must be completed prior to participating in tryouts. Please see the main office with questions.
