Step Into Your Future – Job Shadow for a Day!

Ever wonder what it's really like to work in your dream career? With our Job Shadowing Program, you can spend a day (2–8 hours) alongside a professional in the field of your choice. It's a great way to explore career options, ask questions, and get a feel for the day-to-day experience.

Career Exploration Internship Class

Credit: 0.5
Grade Level: 12
Prerequisite: Passing all classes, completion of an application, and a meeting with the Career Counselor prior to course selection

The Career Exploration Internship is a semester-long course designed for motivated seniors ready to dive deeper into their future career interests. Students will dedicate two class periods to participate in a hands-on internship experience, partnering with professionals from an industry of interest. 

This course offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world insight into a career field while also learning about the evolving needs of today’s workforce. In addition to completing at least 60/65 on-site hours, students will submit weekly reflections that highlights their experience and learning.

The course is facilitated by the Career Counselor and is ideal for students who are focused, responsible, and eager to explore their future beyond the classroom.
