We are Williamsburg, home of Patriots! We are a vibrant, student-centered elementary school serving children Kindergarten through 5th Grade in Geneva, IL, a community rich in tradition, progressive by nature, and dedicated to educational excellence. Formerly known as Coultrap Elementary School, we became Williamsburg in the Fall of 2008 when we moved in to a brand new facility on Williamsburg Avenue.

Our new home is a 102,000 square-foot school located on 14 acres with beautiful landscaping and berming to provide a natural buffer between the school and the surrounding residential community. Planned and specifically designed to meet the needs of an elementary program, the building provides spacious classrooms and hallways, beautiful architectural features, and state-of-the-art technology. In terms of academics, our students learn Reading / English Language Arts and Math skills based on the Common Core State Standards as well as Science, Social Studies, Art, Music and Physical Education.

We provide intervention support as well as enrichment opportunities, based on student need. Our goal, district-wide, is ensuring students engage in 21st Century learning opportunities that will prepare them for a future in a rapidly changing world. To that end, we are focusing on learning 21st Century skills throughout the curriculum including collaboration, critical thinking/problem solving, student-directed learning, and communication.
