I am so excited to welcome you to our third-grade class at Western Avenue School! This is my eleventh year of teaching, and my ninth year as a part of the wonderful Western community!
My formal education began in Batavia, where I attended kindergarten through high school. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Central Michigan University, a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Aurora University (2017), and Master's Degree in Literacy from Judson University (2021).
I spent my first two years teaching fourth grade at Louise White in Batavia, where I had the unique opportunity to work with several of the teachers who made my elementary years so memorable. I was thrilled to join Western Avenue in 2014 as a fifth-grade teacher and equally excited to join the third-grade team a year later. This is my eighth year teaching third grade.
When I'm not teaching you can find me making memories with my family, meandering through the Morton Arboretum, grabbing coffee with friends, camping, or exploring the local bookstores.
