In 7th grade basketball, both the A and B teams defeated Batavia Gold in convincing fashion.  The A team had every player score and remains unbeaten in conference play.  The B team used a very strong second half run to improve to 4-1 in conference.  Both teams play home tonight against St Charles Wredling.

The 8th grade A team lost a close one to Batavia last night.  Brady Ahern grabbed a big rebound late and played a terrific game, but the team fell to Batavia, losing by 3.

The 8th grade B team had one of its most exciting games.  Down 2 points with 10 seconds left, Liam Mcllrath drained a jump shot to send the game to overtime.  The Vikings played great defense for most of the game and was led by Tyler Tusli, who had 4 big blocks.  Unfortunately, the Vikings came up short in overtime, losing by 6.

Attention 7th and 8th grade girls - Girls basketball tryouts will be held on Monday, December 18th and Tuesday, December 19th.  Tryouts will run until 5:20 both days.  All girls that are interested in coming out need to have a current sports physical on file.
