Because both middle schools sit on the same campus, our District developed the “balanced enrollment design” as a way to assign students to the appropriate middle school. Approximately ½ of the students from each elementary school are assigned to each middle school. This determination is made and communicated to families when a student enters second grade. If students move into the District after second grade, they are assigned to a building the following September. This allows for balanced enrollment at each middle school.
All siblings are assigned to the building of the oldest sibling. Once a family enrolls at Central Office, they will be contacted by the middle school campus with information regarding placement. If you have any additional questions regarding how the balanced enrollment design process works, please contact Central Office.
