School Board Food Policy

No food is allowed in the building except the student's healthy snack and lunch.
Geneva 304 is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all students. As of January 2011, the Board of Education has adopted a Management of School Wellness Policy as well as a Management of Students with Life Threatening Allergies Policy. It is with guidance from these policies that Western Avenue School has restricted food/candy treats to only enter the building through a PTO sponsored event. We ask that if a child would like to bring a treat for their classroom, it be something non-edible such as stickers, pencils, or any small party favor.
