My name is Mrs. Spencer, and I am a resource teacher at Western Avenue School. I earned a bachelor's degree in special education from Eastern Illinois University in 1987, a master's degree in elementary education from EIU in 1991, and a second master's degree in literacy from Judson University in 2012. After teaching in central Illinois in special education for thirteen years, my family and I moved to St. Charles. I began teaching in the Geneva school district as a resource teacher in 2006. My husband and I live in St. Charles with our two teenage children. It is a true honor to be part of the Western Avenue School community!
