There is an important and helpful update available for the student computers that are experiencing charging issues. Please leave the computer plugged in and turned on overnight during Thanksgiving break to allow the update to be installed. Turn on the computer.Plug the charging cord into the computer and a working wall outlet. Login to the computer. Verify that the charge percentage goes up at least one percentage. Leave it turned on and plugged in overnight. The update will install and force a restart of the computer. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation.

Geneva families have a fantastic opportunity to access free resources addressing parenting challenges. The Geneva School District is a part of a network of districts offering the GPS Parent Series. This program, provided at no cost by a 501(c)(3) organization, features world-renowned authors and speakers who share research-based insights on current topics to foster positive youth development. Parents can explore weekly live and sometimes in-person presentations or watch numerous recorded videos on the GPS Youtube channel. No registration is required for the sessions, but parents can sign up to receive program updates at gpsparentseries.org.

Geneva CUSD 304 staff and student devices (except grades K, 4, 8, and 12) are being upgraded to Windows 11! Updating to Windows 11 is easy, users will look for a prompt to update and restart their device on or after Monday, May 13th. Parents and guardians, please remind your student(s) and assist if needed. This update should be completed at home, outside of school hours as it can take up to 2 hours to complete. The computer cannot be used during the update. Steps: 1. Connect the device to a power source and turn it on. 2. Click on the Power icon and choose Update and Restart to start the update.
