The Transportation Department consists of 76 buses that transport just over 5,700 students to and from school daily. The Department employs 68 drivers and 6 monitors to cover 255 routes per day. During the 2023-2024 school year, the Department drove 391,350 miles to and from school and curriculum-related field trips. An additional 37,464 miles were driven on athletic trips.
The responsibilities of the Transportation Department include but are not limited to:
- Develop bus routes and student route assignments
- Safely and reliably transport students to and from school
- Safely and reliably transport students for athletics, extra-curricular activities and field trips
