RECOGNITION, AWARDS AND PRESENTATIONS Tradition of Excellence: GHS Principal Tom Rogers presented the Tradition of Excellence award to the GHS ACES (Academic Challenge in Engineering and Science). The ACES Team participated in the State competition at Eastern Illinois University on April 17, 2025. The team finished in 6th place. RECOGNITION, AWARDS, PRESENTATIONS, PUBLIC HEARINGSGHS Principal Tom Rogers presented the Tradition of Excellence award to:National Merit Finalists – These students have been identified among the top 15,000 highest scorers on the 2023 PSAT/NMSQT test and were named National Merit Finalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. RECOGNITION, AWARDS, PRESENTATIONS, PUBLIC HEARINGS Geneva Middle School South Principal Terry Bleau presented the Tradition of Excellence award to two students who represented South at the Illinois Music Educators Association All-State Junior Choir. Emma Schumacher and Zackery Adkins qualified after competing with almost 2000 students from around Illinois. Only students in the top three percent of those who audition receive this honor. We are very proud of this accomplishment. Mrs. Rhonda Hibbeler and Mr. Eric Hibbeler supported Emma and Zack through this process as our middle school choir teachers.

RECOGNITION, AWARDS, PRESENTATIONS, PUBLIC HEARINGSGHS Dance Team: The GHS Varsity Dance Team placed 1st at the IHSA State Dance Finals held at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington January 31- February 1, 2025.
