Williamsburg Elementary's very own Charlotte Servick, a fifth grader, was a winner on Thursday night. She prepared potato pancakes with a side of applesauce. Her recipe involved grating potatoes and frying them with onions. 

She was inspired to create this recipe from her time in Germany. For eight years, Charlotte and her family lived in Dusseldorf, Germany. One of her favorite activities was attending the winter markets and eating potato pancakes. She was excited to share this favorite food with others.

All finalist received a framed plague, a book containing all finalists' recipes, and a chef's apron and hat. Congratulations Charlotte!
