Each fall, fifth graders across the District have a special opportunity to go on a trip to Camp Timber-Lee in East Troy, Wisconsin. During the trip, the students experience education in the great outdoors. They go hiking, try their hand at canoeing, and even conduct some cool earth science experiments. And guess what? They also have some close encounters with reptiles! But it isn't just about the activities. The trip is also a chance for the students to bond with their teachers and peers. There is so much laughter and camaraderie throughout the entire journey.
