From the Sports Desk:

The 8th grade girls’ A and B teams took care of the Yorkville Foxes last night. Lyla Clemson set an all-time Geneva B team record, scoring 27 points!

After a tough start, the 7th grade girls’ basketball team battled back against undefeated Yorkville.  Marin Anderson and Violet Lennon were creating havoc on defense, with Lennon scoring a game high 19 points.  On the B side of the coin, the girls were all heart.  Lilly Matyskiel was crossing girls left and right and put up a team high 5 points while Ashley Jones splashed a big bucket.  Unfortunately, both squads lost, but they look to rebound against North tonight.
