From the Sports Desk:

Yesterday, the 8th grade girls’ volleyball team sent the Jaguars running home with their tails between their legs! The Vikings were led by Charlotte Otto's excellent sets, Lilly Jones' awesome defense, and Bella Frye's powerful serves. Way to slay Viking-Queens!!

Your 7th grade girls’ volleyball team traveled to Aurora Jewel last night to take down the Jaguars! Both teams slaughtered the competition in two sets. The entire A team played their positions well and every server had at least one ace. The Vikings were on the attack and scored kills in the front and back row. Maddie Twigg and Emmylou Hansing played an amazing set with aces and saves at the net.

It was Thursday Night Lights in Wheaton last night as Mr. Jones and his motivational one-liners helped the Vikings empty the tank, kick their knees up, and soar to the finish. The girls showcased impressive performances by Sage Poterek, Elena Hamilton, Olivia Frye, Britton Lapetina, and Alissa Zhinin. The boys grabbed the baton and continued the momentum with strong races by Grayson Snider, Jack Coulier, Elijah Newcomb, Ethan Mandell, and Leo Trch.
