The collection for the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans will continue today and tomorrow. Both North and South are collecting clothing and household items such as wash cloths, hand towels, bath towels sets, linens, personal products and cleaning supplies. A full list of items may be found on the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans website http://helpaveteran.org/.

Please consider donating to this worthwhile cause. Items may be dropped off at either school. 

 

The Geneva Middle School Leos Club is offering an opportunity for students to participate in an apple pie making project on Thursday, November 16th in the Foods room at North.   Pies will be assembled and frozen for you to take home and serve at your Thanksgiving meal. 

The cost is only $6.00 but space is limited to the first 14 people.   Permission slips are available in the office. 

 

Congratulations to all of the South music students participating in this Saturday's District 9 Illinois Music Educators Festival in Huntley.  Students were accepted into the festival through a stringent audition process, and represent the best of the best from all of the music programs in our region.  Representing the choir are:  Maggie Deagle, Maddie Gartrell, Tyler Gross, Lilly Japlon, Alli McCall, Colin O'Brien, and Takyra Wood.  Representing the band are:  Audrey Decker, Adam Faulkner, Maeve Peterson, and Royce Yeung.  Best of luck to all of our student musicians - you make us all very proud!!

 

There is practice today after school in the gym for all students participating in the Veteran's Day Ceremony.
