Be sure to sign up soon for the Leos Club community service project at the Northern Illinois Food Bank on October 19th. It’s filling up quickly, but there is still some space available.  Pick up a permission slip in the office or see Ms. Beyer for more information.

 

Intramural Bowling permission slips are still in the office if you’re interested.   Bowling starts next week, so get those permission slips completed and returned!

 

Science Club’s introductory meeting is going to be on Thursday, October 19th after school. This first meeting will take place in Mr. Duber’s classroom 154 from 3:30 PM– 4:25 PM.

Two major sporting events got rained out last night.  Game 4 of the National League Divisional Series between the Cubs and the Nationals and the season finale of the 8th grade football season between the Vikings and the Knights of Kaneland.  The game only made it to halftime until the lightening was spotted.  Coach Neitzel and Coach Nakum would like to thank all of the players for an excellent season.   

 

Any 8th grade students who are interested in playing in the student/ faculty volleyball game on October 27th see Mrs. Benhart in room 112 for a permission slip.  You must have a physical on file.

 

 

Tryouts for boys’ basketball is next week! Remember you must have a physical on file to attend tryouts.
