Do you love Math? Then you might be interested in Math Club! The first meeting is this coming Monday, September 25 after school. Meetings are held at North in room 122 with Mrs. Gain. You’ll play some fun games and explore super interesting math topics. You’ll also find out about the February Math Counts competition that you can choose to participate in. Math club meets until 4:20, so please arrange to get picked up at North or to take the activity bus home.
Student Council is collecting money all this week to donate to the Red Cross to aid with relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Our goal is to raise $2000.00 and no donation is too small. Donations can be made by check or cash. Turn in your donations to the library in the mornings or in the cafeteria during lunch.

Don’t forget that the First Clean Sweep Friday of the year is tomorrow!
On Clean Sweep Fridays, students are allowed in the building at 8:10 am to spend a little extra time cleaning their lockers and organizing their binders. There will be staff members responsible for checking on the student’s progress during the clean sweep time, and students will be responsible for reporting to staff when they have completed a checklist of tasks. If your student rides the bus to school, we expect they will have enough time to do clean sweep. If you drive your student to school please drop them off at least 10 minutes earlier than normal to allow them to utilize this opportunity.
