Mr. Japlon and Mr. Jones would
like to thank everyone who was a part of the Variety Show on a very successful
weekend! Special thanks to all 8th graders on their final Variety Show
here at South!
Math Club
members that want to compete in the Math Counts competition in February need to
take the school competition in Mrs. Gain's room (North 122) today after school
starting at 3:30. If you cannot come at this time, please see Mrs. Gain to make
alternate arrangements.
The library
puzzle of the week winner is Elise Waldchen! Congratulations, Elise! You can
pick up your prize in the library.
Vikings, it’s
time to look through your closets and drawers for that ugly Christmas sweater, everything
green and red, and/or the fanciest of the fancy. The UGLY SWEATER CONTEST
is this week Friday, December 22nd. Ugly sweaters, Santa hats or
even fancy clothes will work. The winner on each team will get a
trophy and bragging rights!

Club to compete in a holiday trivia competition. Meet in Mr. Fader's room
until 4:25 for music, trivia, and prizes.
7th and 8th graders, it isn’t
too late to sign up to audition for Oklahoma! Auditions will take place today
and tomorrow after school in the Viking Voices room. You only need to attend
one day of auditions. Please pick up an audition packet in the main office.
