The next community service project for Leos Club is scheduled for October 19th at the Northern Illinois Food Bank here in Geneva. Volunteers will be packing a variety of food that will help feed more than 71,500 hungry neighbors each week. Packing time is scheduled from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Bus transportation will be provided to and from the event. Pick up a permission slip in the office or see Ms. Beyer for more information. Space is limited so please, register early. Parents are also invited to attend.


Social Studies Club's first meeting is today!  Join Social Studies Club to learn all about geocaching, to hunt for treasure, and even learn to hide your own cache. Social Studies Club is meeting today after school until 4:20 in room 110 in the 8 White Team Center. See Mr. Fader with any questions


The next Student Council meeting will be this Thursday October 5th at 8 am in room 112.  We’ll be talking about Red Ribbon Week.


GMS South will be celebrating Walk to School Day during PE classes tomorrow. Be prepared to enjoy a stroll on the GMS campus during your PE classes to promote healthier habits, a cleaner environment, and safety.


Are you looking for something fun and different to do? Then sign up for the GMS Bowling League! Stop by the office for more information and permission slips.


Do you like to write stories or fan fiction?  Do you want to collaborate with other young writers?  Are you interested in publishing your writing and possibly earning recognition and cash? Then you should drop in on Writers' Club!  We'll be in the library after school on Tuesday, October 10th and 17th.  


The first Chess Club Meeting is going to be Tuesday, October 10th, and Science Club is starting on October 19th. Stay tuned for more information!


7th and 8th Graders, are you interested in cheerleading? Please sign-up during your lunch this week and attend an informational meeting next Tuesday, October 10th in Mrs. Tomczak’s Room 124 after school. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Mrs. Tomczak before try-outs on October 16th. Remember, you need to have a current sports physical on file!
