November 11th is Veterans Day. To give honor to all who have served in the armed forces we will be sponsoring a “Bring a Veteran to School Day” on Friday, November 11.
This year we will be holding an all-school assembly to honor our Veterans! Mr. Kastel along with the fourth grade students are working hard in preparation of the day. The assembly will start at 8:40 am.
Veterans can arrive starting at 8:10, we will be providing a continental breakfast with coffee and juice for Veterans and their guests. At 8:35, Veterans will be escorted to the gym for the assembly. Upon conclusion of the assembly, Veterans are welcome to visit the classroom(s) of their grandchild, child, relative or friend to participate in a classroom activity. The entire day should conclude by 10:00 am.
Do you know a Veteran that can’t make it, you can still complete a form to honor a veteran on our Veteran’s Wall. You may fill out as many slips as you would like. You can get additional slips on the Mill Creek web page or from your child’s teacher.
