Attention 5th grade tour guides from Harrison, Williamsburg and Fabyan Elementary Schools. Please bring your lunch and meet Ms. Knapp in the Guidance Conference Room for the tour guide training during lunch TODAY, so that you can be ready to lead the 5th grade tours this Thursday.

Congratulations to Lauren Bice, Chloe Black and Amelia DiBuono for taking first place in the Spring Stock Market Challenge sponsored by Northern Illinois University.  The team beat out 319 total teams in their region and was second out of nearly 2,800 high school and middle school teams in the Chicagoland area only losing out to a middle school team from Sycamore Middle School.   In a difficult few months for the stock market, the team managed to make a $17,000 profit.

Interested in giving girls lacrosse a try? Join current high school players and coaches after school tomorrow, May 2nd from 4-6pm at the GMSS Soccer Fields for a clinic. No experience needed. We hope to see you and your friends there!

Join the GHS Twirlers! Become a part of our team, and perform at all GHS home football games and parades. No experience necessary! Come to the Clinic and Tryouts on Thursday May 10th in the West Gym here at South from 3:30 – 5:00. We will provide batons for clinic and teach students how to twirl. We will review all information about being a part of the team and provide handouts. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a high school sport, and enjoy the excitement and experience of Friday night football games as a Freshman! Pick up a flyer with all the information in the office.

Geneva Middle School North and South will be participating in the 13th Annual Bridge Walk to benefit the Living Well Cancer Center in Geneva. Please consider joining the team on Saturday, May 19th at Fabyan Forest Preserve for a 5K walk along the Fox River. With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of those fighting cancer, right here in our own community. If you would like to join our school team, please pick-up a permission slip in the office.
