Birthdays are supposed to be incredibly happy events, but some struggling families don't have enough money to celebrate their child's special day.  SS Club is asking for your help.  Bring in cake mix, candles, balloons, frosting, or any of the items found on the box in your team center.  These bags of birthday supplies will be donated to a local food pantry.  Oh, and BONUS!!! Anyone with a library fine that brings in birthday bag supplies will have their library fine wiped out! The collection will end on Tuesday, February 20th.  Help give someone a happy birthday!

Birthday Bag Needs:

  • Gift Bag

  • Cake Mix

  • Tub of Frosting

  • Birthday Candles

  • Balloons

  • Rolls of Crepe Paper (Streamers)

  • Misc. party favors and small, new toys

Please donate only UNUSED items. Thanks.

“Don't let people tell you that you can't do something.” Learn how gymnast Laurie Hernandez lived up to this quote by reading her book, I Got This: To Gold & Beyond. Be inspired and join our Olympic discussion at the GMS book club on Tuesday, 3/6. See Mrs. Hollis or Mrs. Mourek for details.

The library puzzle of the week winner is Marie Schieke.  Marie, you can claim your prize in the library!

Students, be sure to bring in your box tops for the February drawing! The February collection will end on February 23. If you bring in at least one box top, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $5 Geneva Commons gift card. Soup labels and expired box tops will not be counted.

Don’t forget, debate was rescheduled to tomorrow, Tuesday, February 13th. And Chess Club also meets tomorrow!
