From the Sports Desk:
The 7th grade Girls’ A Basketball team got back on track last night with a dynamite win over Batavia. Hanna Van Camp was driving and dishing with 6 points, Hailey Puklin played a very aggressive game on offense, and Morgan Curran played a terrific overall game with 4 points.
The 7th Grade Girls' B Basketball
team came out strong against Batavia last night and were up in the 1st quarter.
Batavia fought back to make it quite the nail biter. Ainsley had a great game,
putting up 8 points. Claire had some awesome boards, and Lucy had a big buzzer
beater to take home the Vikings win! It was a great team victory.
March Madness, here we come! In a back and forth game against the Batavia Bulldogs, the 8th grade girls’ basketball team found themselves down 3 with 12 seconds to go. The Vikings quickly moved the ball up the court and found Caitlin Cassidy open for 3. She tied the game with her 3rd 3 pointer of the game and sent it to overtime. Batavia got up quickly in overtime but the Vikings, like they had done all game, fought back. Sara Jass sealed the game with 2 big free throws at the end, giving the Vikings the win!
