Attention all 6th and 7th grade students: On Thursday during PE, your devices will be audited. You received an email from Mrs. Oros last week in regards to this. Please drop off your device in the middle gym before going to the locker room to change in PE on Thursday. You do not need to bring your charger. You will pick up your device the same day after your PE class.

Geneva Middle School North and South will be participating in the 13th Annual Bridge Walk to benefit the Living Well Cancer Center in Geneva. Please consider joining the team this Saturday, May 19th at Fabyan Forest Preserve for a 5K walk along the Fox River. With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of those fighting cancer, right here in our own community. If you would like to join our school team, please pick-up a permission slip in the office.

6th and 7th grade girls, there is going to be an informational meeting about next year’s volleyball teams on Wednesday, May 23 at 8:15 am in the Contest Gym. 

This week is fine forgiveness week in the Library.  Please turn in all your books and if you have fines they will be forgiven IF you make a card for a resident at Arden Courts or Greenfields Memory Care Facility. Are you wondering if you have a fine just check your email!  See Mrs. Mourek for details and questions.  

Congratulations to the best of the best track athletes who participated in the 14 team STC invitational meet this past Friday. It was a cold and blustery evening which didn't prevent some outstanding performances. Sara Cramer earned a second place medal in high jump, Erin Slagle placed 4th in long jump, Kayla Eichstaedt placed 4th in the mile run and 5th in the 800. Rebecca Riani placed 6th in triple jump. And a 6th place mile relay team of Gretchen Farrell, Kayla Stone, Bella Walls and Sara Cramer. Also, Bella Walls ran a personal best in hurdles. Great job ladies and thanks to all who were so dedicated this track season! 

Music Students: Friday is a Band/Orchestra day.

Students, if you have still been collecting box tops, be sure to bring them in by May 25th to qualify for the drawing. If you collect 25 or more box tops, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $25 Goodrich Randall 15 movie gift card. If you bring in at least one box top, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $5 Goodrich Randall 15 movie gift card. Remember, Soup labels and expired box tops don’t count.
