From the Sports Desk:
The 8th grade girls’ basketball team traveled to Wredling last night. Giana Sala led the team in blocks. The girls fought hard the entire game but came up short at the end.
The forecast was partly sunny yesterday, but in the main gym it was raining 3 burgers as the 7th Grade Girls took on first place Wredling. Sydney "Sharper" Harper splashed a 3 and led the team with 7 points, but the big splash was Jillian Bultman's buzzer beater 3 to end the first quarter. On the defensive end Abby Frasier and Alexis Guess were like white on rice as the girls came up with some huge steals vs. Wredling's best players. The team ultimately lost a close one to Wredling.
