From the Sports Desk:

It was Valentine's Day yesterday and South was looking to break North's heart in the 8th grade girls’ basketball game.  The lovely scene was set at the high school.  The South Vikings jumped out to an early lead thanks to Bailey Dumas, who ended up with 14 points.  But the North Vikings came storming back in the 2nd half and took the lead. With 45 seconds left, and down by one point, Alyssa Flotte got a perfect pass from Mira Meyers going to the hoop and Alyssa knocked it down. The Vikings took the lead and held on to win by 1.

The Geneva dance team had a wonderful performance at the girls’ basketball game last night. Way to rock the dance floor! The next performance will be at Geneva Middle School North. Come out and support the team!
