The North vs. South boys’ basketball games are on Thursday this week. 7th grade plays at South at 4:30 and 8th grade plays at Geneva high school at 5 pm. There will be a Superfan Yourself station set up outside the gyms from 3:30-4:00 pm at South or 4:15-4:45 at the high school where you can channel your school spirit with face paint, temporary tattoos, some flair and making spirit posters. The 8th grade boys’ basketball team hosted Wredling last night in front of a sellout crowd.  After being down 2 at half, the Vikings came storming back.  Cooper Black...more like Cooper Bank! Cooper banked in two big free throws to help the Vikings keep the undefeated season going.

The B game did not get off to the best of starts.  After being down 20, the Vikings fought back to make it a close game but ended up losing by 9. Vinny Sanchez helped spark the offensive comeback attempt.

The 7th grade A and B teams took on St. Charles Wredling last night.  The A team won a very close 1 point game led by the strong play of Cole Hecker and Henry Winterhalter.  The B team couldn't stop some St. Charles scoring runs and ended up losing by 8 points.  Noah Rosser had his best game of the season.  Both teams will be playing tomorrow against Geneva North at home.
