Leo's club meets tomorrow instead of Thursday from 3:25-4:25. We will join North for a holiday project. Please meet in Ms. Beyer's room in 6blue.

Gaming Club is meeting today from 3:30-4:30. Come spread some holiday cheer playing your favorite games with your friends! Gamers, please check your email for a quick survey from Mr. Rhea.

FCA will meet this Thursday morning at South from 7:45-8:20. Mrs. Gates has some activities planned for us. Join us for Faith, Fellowship, and donuts.

Don't forget the Conservation Club meeting after school tomorrow. Current members and sixth graders looking to complete their conservation action are welcome.  Nonmembers, please email Mrs. Bruno or Mrs. Brady if you are planning on attending. Are you interested in trying out for the dance team and want more information? If so, please join Ms. Mattson in an informational meeting before school on Thursday, December 22nd at 8:00 AM. The meeting will take place at GMSN in the library.

Auditions for the 7th and 8th grade musical Wizard of Oz Jr will take place the Tuesday and Thursday after winter break. You only need to attend one audition day. Please sign up and pick up an audition packet in the main office. Please see Ms. Krahulec is 7 blue with any questions!


Students, do you enjoy trivia and looking to test your knowledge? Consider joining the Scholastic Bowl team, a new interscholastic opportunity where students compete with a team in a trivia-based setting. Scholastic Bowl begins immediately following winter break. Permission slips and more information are available in the main office.


Are you looking for something fun and new to do with your friends?  Maybe make some new friends? I’ve got just the thing for you.  It’s the GMS Bowling League and it will start January 31st.  Permission slips are in the main office, so grab your friend and sign up!


There’s a new intramural coming up in January and it’s called Cookie Creations!  You’ll bake a new recipe each week and it starts January 26th.  Permission slips are in the main office, so sign up soon because this one fills up fast!

7th/8th Girls’ basketball tryouts and 6th-8th dance team tryouts begin immediately following winter break. To participate in tryouts, you must have a valid physical on file in the main office and be registered online.

The 8th grade B team battled Batavia in the semi- finals last night.  The boys out hustled and out played Batavia but couldn’t hit their 3 pointers.  That was the difference in the game.  Great season. 

It was a total team effort as the 8th grade A team steamrolled Batavia in the semi-finals last night.  Mason Bruesch helped lead the way with some big 3's early while Noah Hallahan, Sam Cervenka, and Cooper Black all came up with some big steals and rebounds.  Come support the boys as they face off against North at North in the Championship game tonight at 4:30.
