The Scholastic Book Fair ends today for students, but it will be open for parents at conferences next week. Feel free to stop by. As a reminder, ALL RAFFLE TICKETS should be turned in by 11:30 am to be considered for prizes. Got any spare change? Drop it in the box in the library so we can buy more books for the kids at Lutheran General Hospital.

All music students in band, choir, and orchestra will have their group yearbook picture taken today during their music period.  Today is a choir Friday, so all students in more than one group should report to choir first.  Teachers - if you share a student with music, please send them to their music class first to ensure they are a part of our picture.

From the Sports Desk:

The Geneva 7th grade A and B teams both fell to strong showings by Geneva North last night in conference basketball action.  The teams will attempt to rebound after Thanksgiving Break with a home game that Thursday against Aurora Washington.

It was an instant ESPN classic last night at Geneva High School for the 8th grade boys basketball game. In another rematch of North vs South, North came out swinging in the second half. Despite being down 5 with 2 minutes left, the boys rallied to get back in the game. Mason Bruesch had a big drive to the basket late, and in a complete dejavu situation with .5 seconds left, Tate Beran was fouled trailing North by one. With ice water in his veins, he toed the line and knocked down both free throws to secure the W!

For the B game, Caleb Mittman was on pace to break the record for 3 pointers in a North vs South game as he had 4 in the first half.  He ended up falling short of the record but South dominated the game thanks to a great team effort.
