The JV Vikings kicked off their football season at home against Wredling yesterday. The Vikings were dominant on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Nick Lozano distributed the ball with ease and ended the game with two touchdowns: one in the air and one on the ground. Luke Ignofo put the ball in the end zone twice on big plays. Ryan Michelli added a touchdown of his own on a big run. Kyler Vanderploeg had a dominant game on defense, smothering the Hawks with massive hits. The finals score was 28-6. The JV squad plays next Monday at home against Prairie Knolls. The varsity squad plays later this week on Thursday at Wredling.
 
School picture day is tomorrow. Picture order forms can be picked up in the main office. Pictures can also be ordered online. your parents were sent an email with online ordering instructions.

Lunch table sign up will take place today. When you arrive in the cafeteria that day, please choose a table that you plan to remain at until the end of November.

Students don't miss the Activity Fair being held in the library next Wednesday, August 31 from 8-8:30 am. This is your chance to check out the clubs and activities North offers, meet the sponsors, and get more information on how and when to sign-up! We'll see you there!

 Are you a 6th grader who likes acting and making new friends? If so, you should audition for the 6th grade play! This year’s show is Night at the Wax Museum. Auditions are after school next Tuesday, August 30th and Wednesday, August 31st in the cafeteria. Sign up for an audition date and pick up an audition packet from the main office or the table in the 6 Blue Team Center next to Ms. Poppen’s office.
