Mr. Espana joins the Geneva School District this academic year as a school psychologist, serving the middle schools and high school. “What excites me most about being a school psychologist at Geneva CUSD 304 is becoming a part of a tight knit community that centers itself around a clear vision and goal of supporting the academic, behavioral, and emotional success of our students,” he said.

After graduating from Batavia High School, he completed his undergraduate studies at Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. In June 2022, he graduated from the school psychology program at National Louis University with an educational specialist degree.

In his spare time, he loves to watch sports, listen to podcasts and exercise. Mr. Espana is an avid runner, who completed his first half marathon in November of 2021. “I am looking forward to taking on the challenge again this year,” he said.
