The Geneva Middle School Viking varsity football team pushed its conference record to 2-0 with a victory over Aurora Washington last night. The high-powered Viking offense continued to dominate. Quarterback Ben Peterson threw for two first-half touchdowns, one to Bennett Konkey and another to Alex Abraham. Running back Tate Beran added two more scores on the ground.  Defensively, the Vikings blanked the Generals. Noah Hallihan blocked a Washington punt attempt in the endzone leading to a safety and cornerback Herman Schamberger intercepted a pass as the Vikings cruised to a 33-0 victory. Next up for Viking football—varsity on the road against Aurora Herget on Tuesday.
