From the Sports Desk:

The 8th grade girls competed in the Harter tournament over the weekend.  The tournament started out in exciting fashion as the Vikings beat Kaneland on their home court by 1.  Then they went on to beat Carol Stream by 13, which sent them to the gold bracket Saturday.  In a tough battle, the Vikings were unable to beat Dixon to make it to the championship.  Alyssa Flotte and Bailey Dumas were selected to the all-tournament team. Gianna Sala finished 3rd in the point competition. Hooray!
