From the Sports Desk:

The 8th grade girls’ basketball team hosted Wredling in front of a full house last night.  The Vikings weren't perfect but took a nice step forward in their loss.  Mira Meyers and Juliet Whiston helped take care of the ball and made good passes. The Vikings lost by 13.   And congrats to the fan of the game, L J Lata for coming out.

The 7th grade girls' basketball B team faced a tough game against Wredling last night. The Vikings played a fierce zone coming up with several steals and breakaways to the hoop.  Isabella Beltz was all over on both ends of the court with her aggressive defense and drives to the lane. Jade Davenport knocked down some big shots for the team in the second half.

Likewise, the 7th grade girls' basketball A team played hard against Wredling last night. The Vikings D was strong and in sync, putting a stop on any easy ops in the lane. Abby Frazer held Wredling's best player to just 2 buckets all half. And Emma Peterson went hot coming away with some awesome takes and 8 points. Both teams came up short but look forward to a rematch at home.
