Don’t forget that Student Council will be selling hot chocolate before school tomorrow morning for only $1! So, bring your dollar bills and start your day with a delicious cup of hot chocolate.


Tomorrow is a 6th grade Jivin’ Geneva right after school until 5:00. 


Be sure to stop by the Science Club meeting on Tuesday January 17th at South after school in Mrs. Bruno's room 221. Be prepared to get messy as we work on a slippery challenge. Hope to see you there!


Chess Club meets today here at South in the library until 4:20.


Never been to a Conservation Club meeting? Now is the time to join us as we work on some local conservation projects. Our next meeting is on Wednesday January 18th after school in Mrs. Bruno's room 221 until 4:20. Don't miss it!


Tutoring in writing will be offered on Mondays and Thursdays in the library before school at 7:45 am and after school until 4:20 pm starting tomorrow. No need to sign up, you can drop in any time. This is a great opportunity if you need help on your writing projects, organizing your ideas, sentence structure, adding details, developing ideas, or revising work. Bring work you would like help on.


The Conservation Club is collecting broken and nonworking Christmas lights to take for special recycling.  Feel free to bring any from your house by Friday.  Boxes will be in team centers today.  


The last day of auditions for the 7th and 8th grade musical Wizard of Oz Jr is today in the Viking Voices Room across from the Choir room. See Ms. Krahulec is 7 blue with any questions!


Are you looking for something fun and new to do with your friends?  Maybe make some new friends? I’ve got just the thing for you.   It’s the GMS Bowling League and it will start January 31st.  Permission slips are in the main office.



There’s a new intramural coming up this month and it’s called Cookie Creations!  You’ll bake a new recipe each week and it starts January 26th.   Permission slips are in the main office, so sign up soon because this one fills up fast!
