A reminder to staff and students that there are green recycling bins in the team centers for pens, pencils, markers, and glue sticks.  Please think before throwing these away and instead put them in the green recycling bins.  Feel free to bring any dried-up markers, pens and glue sticks from home too.

 

Join Ms. Marks and Mr. Kristofer for a fun-filled summer of Art! Explore a variety of Art classes-Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, and Digital Art! Open to all middle school students at both North and South. Stop by the art rooms or main office for more information!

 

Social Studies Club will meet Monday, April 18, afterschool until 4:20 in Mr. Fader’s room! All are welcome!

 

A new intramural is coming to GMSS! If you want to learn how to create compelling digital photos, learn to edit, and how to print and mat photos, then be sure to pick up your permission slip in the main office for the Photography Intramural! Cost is $15.00 a person and will include 4 2-hour sessions! 

 

The Creative Writing Club will meet again on Tuesday, April 19th in Ms. Riley's room at South. Join us to find out which of our writers placed in the AAUW Writing contest!" 

 

Join us for Science Club after school on Tuesday, April 19th,  in Mrs. Bruno's room 221 at South until 4:20. We will be doing some hydroponic gardening. Don't miss it!

 

Last night the Boys Volleyball team played Herget in an exciting match at home. The Varsity team was led with outstanding performances from Ali (pronounced ALL-E) Shabbir and Joey Colangelo. Strong serves and aggressive net play helped lead the Varsity team to victory. JV played a tough game but was defeated by Herget. Lincoln Czupek (pronounced Shoe-Peck), Cameron Winsininski, and Finn Long all had great passes and serves. Special shout-out to the Track team for coming out to support our team!
