On the way to a third-place finish, the Viking boys broke several long-standing school records, including Mason Halbach in the triple jump, and the team of Konkey, Halbach, Harrison Tincher and Fynn Caston in both the 4x100 meter relay, and the 4x200 meter relay--a record that had previously stood for 36 years. The boy’s junior varsity team placed 5th. The girl’s junior varsity team took second place overall, the varsity girls placed 4th overall, and Lola Garcia placed first in the triple jump. Olivia Pohlman took 2nd in the triple jump and Alyssa Flotte set a personal best in the 200-meter dash. Congratulations to all track athletes on a great season!
