Your Viking football team traveled to play the Jaguars of Aurora Jewel yesterday. Kai Vanderploeg rushed for two touchdowns. Graham Burt added another 6 on the ground. Nick Lozano scrambled outside the pocket and threw a dime to Carter Fuhrman for a 30 yard gain just short of the goal line. Lozano finished the drive with his legs for another score. The Viking defense was suffocating. Lincoln Czupek stripped the ball and recovered the fumble on the third offensive play of the game. Luciano Binetti peanut punched the ball lose, and Lincoln Czupek recovered the ball again. The final score was 30-8 bringing the JV team to a record of 3-0.. The Varsity squad takes on Jewel Middle School on Thursday at home. Come out to support your Vikings and watch some football!
