From the Sports Desk:

The 8th grade basketball team put on an offensive clinic to open the season against Aurora.  Ben Peterson kicked things off with a 3 burger, and John Tweed helped set the tone with his aggressive play.  For the B squad, Finn Tomko was throwing out some dimes while Nick Norkus was lighting it up from outside.  Nice job on two big wins!

Both the 7th grade A and B teams defeated Aurora Jefferson last night in their first game of the year.  Both teams had strong showings on defense led by Bryson McGinn in the A game and the combination of Colton Bush and Gavin Skinner in the B.  Their next game is Monday at home against Aurora Jewel.
